In other related news, former Nickelodeon child stars Katrina Johnson and Leon Frierson, who both starred on 'All That', react to Dan Schneider's apology in a new interview.

AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes can't seemingly relate to the stories on "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV". If a new report is to be believed, the former Nickelodeon star turned down an offer to discuss her child star past.

According to TMZ, producers of the Investigation Discovery series approached Amanda and her parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes, about sharing their stories on the show. They, however, decided not to participate.

A source spilled to the news outlet that Amanda, who didn't watch the four-part series, refused to appear on it because she simply didn't have a bad experience while starring on "The Amanda Show". Instead, the "Easy A" actress is grateful for Nickelodeon which helped launch her career.

As for Amanda's parents, the source claimed that they live a private life and hope to stay out of the limelight. They, however, allegedly watched the documentary and were saddened and disgusted by the allegations.

In other news, former Nickelodeon stars Katrina Johnson and Leon Frierson reacted to Dan Schneider's apology. During their appearance on NewsNation's "Dan Abrams Live", Leon said, "I think it's positive. It is a step in the right direction. But of course, the timing is incredible." The actor, who was only 11 years old when he first joined the cast of "All That", added, "It took this documentary to come out, a huge expose, for us to get that acknowledgement that we were looking for."

"I'm not here to judge someone for eternity. There's a little bit of a blame game going on here. [The network] was approving the content, and he was just putting out there what people wanted to see. But of course, we would have liked to see this [apology] happen well before the documentary," he continued. "We've heard whistleblowers for years - but nevertheless, better late than never."

Katrina, meanwhile, recalled having a positive experience with Dan. "We worked together rather closely - he was my mentor. He was the one who hired me," she said of the former Nickelodeon producer. "We created quite a few scenes together, we created a bunch of characters together, we worked together on screen and off-camera."

She added, "I actually had a great experience with him, but that doesn't, of course, discount anyone else's experience. I see how it could all have happened. I just personally didn't experience any of that. My parents were very, very, very close [to me] and they were around all the time, so I was probably sheltered from anything bad."
