AceShowbiz - Saucy Santana has playfully shot his shot at Gilbert Arenas. Flattered that the former professional basketball player complimented his twerking, the "Material Girl" called the athlete his "baby daddy."
Arenas name-dropped Santana on the "No Chill" podcast. "It threw me off. I never seen somebody with nails and the beard. When I hit the video, twerk," he admitted. "I'm not gon' lie... If I had to rate between who's better, him and Megan Thee Stallion, I don't know who I'ma throw my dollars to, dawg. A good show is a good show."
"Sauce, listen: You can't talk and you can't look at me... How [are] you supposed to get a lap dance from the dude?" he added. "All I'm saying is, it was twerking just a little better than Megan Thee Stallion. I had to double back to make sure it's the same person."
Catching wind of Arena's comment, Santana shared his response via X, formerly Twitter. The openly gay emcee wrote, "WAIT. Ayo, Gil! Lemme holla at [you]!!! I had a crush on you since I was [a] kid. [You] my baby daddy."
Meanwhile, on Instagram, Santana made it clear that it was all just for a laugh. "I feel like [Gilbert Arenas] is trolling. I'm trolling too. It's all kicks and giggles, but that really be some real a** s**t," he said in an Instagram video. "Y'all gotta realize, this why when n***as be around gays and be acting weird, it's because they start having thoughts."
Prior to this, Arenas clowned Nick Young for his friendship with Santana. "Ah, hell! That's yo dog! Hahaha!" the former exclaimed on his podcast. "Hell no! Come on, man. This?!… That ain't no rapper, stop it. That was your roommate? Come on dawg. That's your dawg huh? Nick, I know you paid for that."
Santana was offended by Arena's initial remarks. "I really be having to check these n***as," he said. "What the f**k is funny about a straight man saying he cool with me? I'm one of the realest n***as you'll ever f**king meet. And once ya'all n***as retire from basketball … SIT DOWN & STFU!!!!"
Santana doubled down on his statements in a video. "I don't know what the f**k was funny when you talking to Nick. You laughing, 'Oh haha, he your homeboy. He not a rapper.' B***h I am a motherf**king rapper. That's how I make most of my motherf**king money," he fumed.
