In a new podcast interview, the former 'Counting On' star assures that she is still in contact with her estranged father despite having not seen him for over one year.

AceShowbiz - Jill Duggar appeared to have not met Jim Bob Duggar for more than one year. On "The Unplanned Podcast", the former "Counting On" star admitted that she "can't remember" the last time she met her father amid their estrangement.

The 32-year-old reality TV star and her husband Derick Dillard opened up about their estrangement from her parents in the Wednesday, January 10 episode of the podcast. She made the confession after host Matt Howard asked her the last time she saw her parents. Speaking to Matt and Abby Howard alongside Derick, she said, "Trying to think."

Jill went on to ask Derick, "Was it a wedding or was it a [wedding]? Have there been any weddings since then?" She candidly stated, "I can't remember." She then shared, "I feel like I saw them at a birthday party. We saw them at a birthday party since then."

"Or baby announcement or some, I don't know, some kind of family function thing," the TV personality continued. She then noted, "That was before the book," before her husband added, "That was over a year ago." She continued, "But that was since we had our last baby, since the book was written, but like it was released or something."

Despite her estrangement from her father Jim, Jill seemingly maintained good connection with some of her siblings. About how often she met them, she explained, "Depending on the sibling, several of my siblings. It's still one of those situations where you kind of have to know, like, 'What am I up for emotionally?' 'Cause a lot of times Derrick and I will debrief afterwards."

"Like, 'Okay, how did this go?' and I would be lying if I would say that it's completely like it used to be or there aren't any triggers or it doesn't bring up any trauma at all. There are those moments. But I can definitely get together with some of my siblings and just have a great time and go to lunch for my sister's birthdays," she elaborated.

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Jill assured that she is still in contact with her father Jim and mother Michelle Duggar. However, she confessed that she hasn't had "a sit-down conversation" with them since her book, wherein she discussed being raised by her parents with "cult-like" religious teachings around her 18 siblings, was released.
