AceShowbiz - DaBaby has decided to quit drinking. Over the weekend, the "Rockstar" hitmaker announced that he officially gave up alcohol following an "embarrassing" incident with his daughter.

"It's official, bruh. I don't drink no more," the 31-year-old declared in an Instagram post shared on Sunday, December 3. "Don't try to give me no bottles, don't try to offer me no shot, don't do none of that."

DaBaby went on to explain, "I'm throwing up on [Interstate 77]. She beside me in her car seat talking 'bout some, 'Good job.' I'm fighting for my life in that back seat, and my baby talking about, 'Good job.' " He further elaborated, "Man, it's embarrassing in front of my baby. I don't drink no more."

In the same clip, DaBaby issued a stern warning. He stated, "You offer me a drink from this point forward, I'm stealing the f**k out. It's as simple as that. We gon' get to hitting immediately. So, you better not be drunk 'cause I'm going to be sober. I'm stealing off sober."

The announcement came a few weeks after DaBaby reflected on the financial loss he suffered following his homophobic rant at the 2021 Rolling Loud. "I don't regret anything that I done been through and it feels good to say that and really mean it…It's like 'Boy I wish I had …$200 million, y'all robbed me,' I don't feel like that," he said on "Club Shay Shay".

"I really feel like that's a blessing in my life," the emcee added. "And I just came to that realization and in the past two weeks I feel like I needed this season I had to endure and that will make me way more happier as a person and much more of a man for the remainder of my life."

"Had I not been forced to sit my a** down and self-reflect cause I still didn't sit down even when it took place, I'm fighting I'm fighting it... 'Nah that ain't what is'... it took for God to [say] sit yo a** down," he elaborated. "It took that for me to get to a point ok where I'm comfortable within my situation and the results that I got."
