The 25-year-old son of the hip-hop mogul, who is following in his father's footsteps as a rapper, has come under fire after seemingly giving a shout-out to GDK.

AceShowbiz - King Combs has retracted his alleged declaration that he's a gang member. The son of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and late model Kim Porter has denied that he's affiliated with any gangs after coming under fire for giving a shout-out to GDK.

On Monday, December 4, King, born Christian Combs, made use of his Instagram Story to set things straight that he has no ties to any gangs. "I ain't affiliated w no gangs & im not a gang member!!" he wrote.

King issued the statement after he received backlash for seemingly announcing that he's a gang member. In a video circulating online, a woman filmed the 25-year-old, whom she called "baby," as she thanked him for a sweet thing he had done for her. Appearing briefly in the clip, he said to the camera, "GDK," which seemed to be a reference to Gangster Disciples Killer.

Many soon criticized King for making the claim, particularly amid his father's legal issue. Among the critics was Yella King, who said, "So I look on the internet and I see Puff Daddy's son come out saying GDK. It's not a good time when your dad has all these allegations...." He was referring to the sexual abuse lawsuits against the Bad Boy Records founder, before asking, "Why would you even try to involve yourself in anything GDK?"

Yella then claimed that he received a call from King, who sought advice on whether he should pursue drill music. "Bro, why would you want to do drill music? You don't come from the streets or come from none of that. You were born famous, not from the streets," he said of the aspiring rapper. "Come from a rich daddy that's fighting a bunch of sexual allegations and crazy stuff. And you want to come talking about GDK. Don't let them GDs get witchu you, dude. Goofy."

Now that King has denied any affiliations with gang, not everyone was easily convinced by his claim. "I feel like bro was just playing but it's more backlash cus of who he is and where he come from, we definitely all say crazy shxt just like this when a girl we fw record us," one person commented. Another mocked the Combs family, "Runs in the family they known to end sum quick." A third mocked him, "Tryna look cool for the h*es [face with tears of joy emojis] you rich n***a you already got her lmaoooo."
