In a podcast interview, the 'Regret in Your Tears' raptress admits that not liking 'being skinny' and 'having a flat' derriere were among the reasons why she went under the knife.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj wishes to have her pre-plastic surgery body back. On "The Run-Through With Vogue" podcast, the "Anaconda" hitmaker reflected on her decision to alter the way her body looked by going under the knife.
In the Thursday, November 9 episode of the podcast, the 40-year-old hip-hop artist got candid with her appearance post-plastic surgeries. Speaking to podcast hosts Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle, she said, "I guarantee you, if you change anything on your body and do anything surgical and all this, you're going to, more than likely, not definitely, more than likely, look back one day and say, 'I was just fine the way I was.' "
Nicki admitted, "That's what happened to me. I could not believe even some of the photos that I didn't love." She went on to elaborate, "I didn't like being skinny, having a flat butt, you know. Having boobs that didn't sit high enough. It was a lot of things."
"And when I look back at myself now, I literally was like, 'Oh, I'm about to look like that girl again.' The reason why I wasn't able to look back at my old photos was I didn't like the way I looked, right, physically," the "Starships" rapper recounted. She further stressed, "And now I love the way that person looks physically."
During the chat, Nicki unveiled what led her to change the way she looks at herself. "I think pregnancy could have played a role because seeing my son did remind me of myself so much. My real self," she spilled to the two hosts while making a reference to her and her husband Kenneth Petty's 3-year-old son, who is publicly known as "Papa Bear."
The "Regret in Your Tears" raptress additionally stated, "And it made me think, 'Why didn't I like this?' So weird." She added, "But seeing old photos, being able to look at old photos again made me realize, 'These old photos are beautiful.' " However, she did not explicitly mention the procedures she has undergone to alter her look.
