AceShowbiz - Christine Baumgartner is in Hawaii not only with her kids, but also with one of Kevin Costner's pals. The handbag designer has been spotted with the actor's friend Josh Connor during her vacation on the tropical island.
In photos circulating online, Christine was all smiles while taking a scenic seaside stroll on the beach with her estranged husband's banker friend. Looking carefree, she spread her arms wide open at one point during their walk as she appeared to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful view.
The 49-year-old model covered up her bikini-ready figure for the walk with a flowing purple backless dress with a spaghetti-strap halter top. She wore white sandals and carried a floppy white hat while shielding her eyes from the sun with sunglasses.
Her male companion, meanwhile, went shirtless and wore brown shorts with flip flops while carrying his discarded shirt at his side. He blocked out the piercing sun with a black baseball cap and dark shades.
The two reportedly had a great time during the stroll. A bystander told Daily Mail, "She sat with the guy at a corner table. He was handsome. They started off across the table from each other and she was laughing a lot at whatever he was saying."
"She was showing him photos from her phone, and he moved to the seat next to her so they were both facing the water," the eyewitness went on detailing. "It's hard to say if there was anything going on with them, but he did put his hand on her leg at one point that I saw. That was the only actual physical interaction. Her suite is right next to the guy’s suite. He had the drinks charged to his room and they left together right before sunset."
Despite their apparent closeness, sources told TMZ that there is "absolutely no romantic relationship" between Christine and Josh, who is also said to be good friends of Kevin. "They have been good friends for years," the source added.
The wealthy financier reportedly lives very close to the Costner family home in Carpinteria, California and he has been a "confidante" to Christine as she navigates her messy split from Kevin. A source told The Sun that Josh had flown out to Hawaii to serve as a "companion" to Christine, and he is reportedly staying at the same swanky Four Seasons resort as her family.
Prior to being spotted with Josh, Christine was seen hitting the beach with her two children during their vacation in Hawaii. She was seen snapping selfies with her daughter while rocking a two-piece bikini.
Christine, who filed for divorce from Kevin in May after 18 years of marriage, was recently awarded $129,755 monthly in child support. She still has to vacate their $145 million mansion complex in Santa Barbara, California by the end of the month.
