The 'Euphoria' star reveals a cheeky nickname that she gives to her 'Anyone But You' co-star after his girlfriend Gigi Paris unfollowed the actress on Instagram amid the two's eyebrow-raising chemistry on set.

AceShowbiz - Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell got flirty while promoting their new movie "Anyone But You". Attending a presentation for the upcoming film at CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas on Monday, April 24, the on-screen pair traded banter amid speculation that the "Scream Queens" alum broke up with his girlfriend Gigi Paris because of his co-star Sydney.
Shortly after walking onstage for the presentation, where they unveiled the first footage from the movie, Glen joked, "We love seeing ourselves on the big screen," prompting Sydney to reply, "Oh, please, Top Gun," a nickname referring to his 2022 blockbuster movie "Top Gun: Maverick", which also starred Tom Cruise and Miles Teller. "I love when she calls me that," he quipped.
Sydney joked that she thought Glen was actually Miles "until the fourth day of shooting." He later said to her, "You knew I'm not Miles Teller," to which she playfully replied, "No, I did. I actually thought you were Tom Cruise, though."
Their playful banter apparently mirrored that of their characters. "Anyway, as you could probably guess, this movie's about two people that hate each other. Sydney plays a character [who is] a real nightmare," Glen told the audience gathered at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
According to Sydney, Glen's character is a real "a**hole." He then teased about the film, "And what better place to put a nightmare and an a**hole than on the other side of the world in the most romantic setting imaginable?"
Sydney and Glen's chemistry during the filming of "Anyone But You" in Australia was so apparent and it led to speculation that the "Euphoria" star caused the breakup between Glen and his girlfriend Gigi. The model sparked the split rumors as she unfollowed the actress on Instagram after initially supporting the actress when casting news for the Will Gluck-directed film was announced earlier this year.
However, according to TMZ, the news cannot be further from the truth. Sources tell the site that Sydney and Glen are not dating and the 25-year-old actress is still engaged to restaurateur Jonathan Davino. She's also still living with her fiance, though there's still no confirmation on Glen's relationship status with Gigi.
