AceShowbiz - 50 Cent isn't going to hand out wedding invitations in the near future. After her longtime girlfriend Cuban Link sparked engagement rumors over the weekend, a representative for the rapper has quickly shut down the reports.
The rep confirms that the "Power" actor/co-creator has not popped the question to the fitness trainer just yet. The rep tells TMZ that her huge diamond band that started the chatter isn't an engagement ring, but assures that the couple is very much together.
Cuban sparked the engagement rumors on Saturday, April 16 after she posted on Instagram a video that showed her walking arm-in-arm with her man backstage. The video captured the couple from behind, with the entrepreneur wearing a see-through white dress and a black thong one-piece bodysuit.
The clip also saw her supporting Fiddy as he was performing onstage. Holding a drink in one hand, she flaunted a huge diamond ring on her left hand while she held a phone to record her boyfriend in her other hand. She set the video to a Summer Walker love ballad and captioned it with white heart and padlock emojis.
After seeing the post, many sent congratulations to the couple. "Listen Scorpio & cancers are match made in heaven!! @_cuban_link Congratulations!!!!!!!" one follower wrote in the comments section of Cuban's post before the rep denied it.
50 Cent and Cuban have been dating since 2019. They rarely step out together at public events, but they often show their love with goofy interactions on social media.
In February, Cuban attempted to prank her boyfriend by joking about a man sliding into her DMs. "Baby, This boy be in my DMs saying I'm preeeetty," she told her 47-year-old beau in a TikTok video. "In your DMs saying what?" he asked, sounding a little puzzled. In response, she said, "He say I'm pretty." Instead of getting jealous, the 47-year-old rapper bluntly replied, "Good! Get knocked out," prompting a surprised laugh from his girlfriend.
