AceShowbiz - Tyga has taken matters into his own hands to announce his relationship with Avril Lavigne. After they were spotted kissing in Paris, the Compton rapper has made use of his Instagram account to further confirm that they're an item.
The 33-year-old star made his relationship with the Canadian singer/songwriter Instagram official on Tuesday, March 7. Sharing pictures from his trip to the City of Love, he included a couple of photos featuring him and his new girlfriend.
The duo was matching in all-black ensembles in the images. They walked side-by-side, though they didn't show any PDA. "Shout out to Dallas......," the rapper captioned the snaps, letting fans finish it for him.
Tyga and Avril confirmed their romance as they were spotted kissing on Monday after weeks of speculation about their relationship. The "Sk8er Boi" songstress and the "Ayo" hitmaker locked lips at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer Party during Paris Fashion Week.
The two cozied up to one another as he put his arms around her and shared a smooch in front of cameras. They were also photographed holding hands while walking into the swanky bash, and posing for photographs together.
Avril and Tyga first sparked dating rumors after they were caught sharing a hug following dinner date at NOBU in Los Angeles in February. A rep for Mod Sun later confirmed that he had called it quits with Avril.
While Mod Sun admitted he felt "broken" in the wake of his split from Avril, she continued fueling the dating reports as she was spotted hanging out with Tyga in Paris. Earlier this month, the pair were seen hitting Leonardo DiCaprio's party at Kuku restaurant.
After Tyga and Avril seemingly went public with their relationship, Mod Sun opened up about relying on his friends these days. "I'm so grateful to have real friends who will sit on the phone with me for 2 hours," he tweeted on Monday. He then told his fans, "If you got those people in your life, do not let them go."
