The 'GMA3' co-anchors are all smiles and show subtle PDA after grabbing lunch in NYC despite reports claiming that they're keeping their distance for the time being amid ABC's internal review of their affair.

AceShowbiz - Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been spotted together for first time since they were taken off the air. Breaking cover amid the backlash over the affair scandal, the couple was spotted having a lunch date in New York City on Thursday, December 15.

As seen in pictures published by Daily Mail, the two "Good Morning America" anchors were not hiding their relationship now that the public is aware of it. The pair showed subtle PDA as they walked arm-in-arm through the streets on a cold Manhattan day.

Amy and T.J. looked loved up during the stroll, sharing a laugh while Amy held onto her boo's arm. They were heading back to T.J.'s apartment in the Financial District after grabbing lunch at The Capital Grille, just a couple of blocks away from his residence.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' Lunch Date

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes reunited for a lunch date since their 'GMA' absence.

Amy and T.J. did not appear giddy and flirtatious inside the restaurant, where they enjoyed a salad with a glass of wine. The pair kept it casual during the outing, with Amy wearing a gray tee and white hoodie underneath a blush pink coat, which she paired with blue jeans. She also wore brown heeled boots and tied her hair in low ponytail.

As for T.J., he looked stylish in a black hoodie underneath a plaid coat. He matched Amy's style with blue jeans as he also sported black scarf and black shoes with white soles.

This marks their first public sighting together since they were taken off the air following the bombshell expose of their relationship. Prior to the lunch date, the U.K. news outlet reported that they were putting their romance on hold as "they wouldn't dare be caught together now, not while ABC is making a decision." A so-called insider claimed, "Their marriages are over, but they have children to think about and they don't want to jeopardize their futures with the network any more than they already have."

Earlier this week, ABC News' President Kim Godwin emailed staffers to share the update regarding Amy and T.J.'s current status on the show amid ongoing internal investigation. "Amy and T.J. will remain off-air pending the completion of an internal review, and there will be a rotation of anchors at 'GMA3' for the time being," read the email.

She added, "I understand that the continuing coverage can be distracting from the incredibly important work our team does here at ABC News. It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism."
