While details of the Chicago-born rapper's May arrest have not been revealed, the alleged assault was against a family member, according to online jail records.

AceShowbiz - Lil Reese had another legal issue last month. The Chicago-born rapper, who was born Tavares Lamont Taylor, was arrested last month on aggravated assault charges, according to online jail records. It was said that Reese was booked into Harris County Jail on May 19 and initially denied bond.
According to the records, he was booked just five days later on the same charge, but had his bond set at $60,000. As of now, further details of Reese's arrest have not been revealed. However, records indicate the alleged assault was against a family member.
The arrest news arrived a year after the rapper was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery following physical altercation with his girlfriend. He was accused of attacking his partner at his Chicago, Illinois home on the night of May 29, 2021 after a heated argument turned physical, with the woman telling police Reese pulled her hair and punched her in the face.
Officers responding to calls about the incident noted an injury to her lower lip, and took Reese into custody. Reese was eventually released on $10,000 bond.
A representative for the rapper, however, claimed that Reese was innocent. In a statement issued to TMZ, the spokesperson wrote, "That story is false, nobody was hit... the court narative is based off someone saying Lil Reese was physical, but he was not [sic]."
Also shutting down the claims that he hit his girlfriend, Reese told Fucious TV, "That s**t was fake." He added, "That was just an argument going on. Someone seen us arguing and called the police, so when the police came they already knew who I was. So they were like, 'Aight, we finna just lock him up.' "
That aside, Reese recently celebrated the birth of his daughter. Last month, he took to his Instagram account to declare that he is now a father of a baby girl, who is named Kai'ri, while sharing adorable photos on his social media accounts. He additionally tagged @Kairiharley_, the Instagram handle of his baby girl.
"I just had a baby girl she so f**king pretty," so he gushed in the caption. "I'm finna fall the f**k out ion even suppose be posting these pics but f**k it."
