'I think I'm going to just be very quiet for a minute and see what enters,' the Golden Globes nominee shares in a new interview.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Schilling isn't planning to "chase" new projects after "Orange Is the New Black" comes to an end.

The Netflix series, about female prisoners, propelled the American actress to international stardom and landed her two nominations for Golden Globes.

Executives announced in October that the show will be finishing in 2019 after seven seasons, and Taylor has now spoken to digital magazine Story + Rain about life after "Orange Is the New Black".

"This is a huge new chapter," she shared. "I have a few projects coming out this spring - Orion Pictures' thriller "The Prodigy", and the Film Arcade comedy "Family". And then I think I'm going to just be very quiet for a minute and see what enters, as opposed to chasing it."

Taylor has been playing inmate Piper Chapman since the show's debut in 2013, and admitted it's going to be tough to say goodbye. However, she knows exactly how she'll go about it.

"This is a huge part of my life. I was young. I was 27, just so little...What I hope for Piper is that she lives on in perpetuity," the 34-year-old smiled. "That she finds some freedom, some self-acceptance. It's been really interesting playing a character that has not found any internal resting point. With a lot of gratitude, is how I'd like to say goodbye."
