During the duo's performance of 'Somebody to Love', Yunho knelt down and screamed the late singer's name at the top of his lungs.

AceShowbiz - While many were able to say their final farewells to SHINee's Jonghyun, there were two who could not due to their schedules. On December 21, TVXQ held their tour which was called "TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2017 Begin Again in TOKYO" at Tokyo Dome in Japan. It happened to be the same day as Jonghyun's funeral procession, leading them to not be able to attend his funeral.

Even though they just lost a dear friend as well as junior, they had no choice but to go on stage as the event had already been planned way in advance. It appeared that the leader of the group, Yunho, could not hide his sorrow. During their performance of "Somebody to Love", Yunho knelt down and screamed, "Jonghyun!!" at the top of his lungs.

Watching this, the crowd could not help but feel the same as the leader of TVXQ. They ended up cheering loudly while waving their light sticks, giving encouragement to the duo. The day before, TVXQ also sent out a message on big screens before the start of their concert in respect to Jonghyun.

"Jonghyun was like a dear brother to us TVXQ members," so the message read. "He was such a talented singer, songwriter and an artist that shined brightly on stage. But he has left our side as if he's gone away on a long trip. Although our hearts are filled with so much grief and sorrow, we will never forget him so please don't forget him nor his music. We will do our best at our concert today thinking about Jonghyun. Please cheer us on."

The "Mirotic" hitmakers previously expressed their feelings about the sudden death of the SHINee vocalist during their appearance on Japanese show "Sukkiri". Yunho shared that he was "so flustered," while Changmin said that he "couldn't describe it in words..."
