The former 4Minute member says that she chooses the controversial theme for Triple H's '365 FRESH' music video because she wants the group to be different.

AceShowbiz - HyunA commented on the controversy surrounding the threesome-themed music video of her unit group with Pentagon's Hui and E'Dawn, Triple H (II). During an interview with MBC's Section TV on Sunday, May 7, she stated that the controversial theme was necessary to make the group different from others. The music video of the trio's debut single, "365 FRESH", received backlash for "promoting" threesome, drug-abuse, crime and suicide.

As the leader of the group, HyunA admitted she knew the music video wouldn't be able to please everyone. "It is impossible for everyone to love it," she said. "We wanted to avoid doing what's been done. Since our theme is 'youth,' we tried to expressed instability as good as possible."

Although the former 4Minute member said that they never intended to support the theme of the music video, people believed that producing a music video like that was an inappropriate thing to do. A fan pointed out the video's explicit content in an article on Nate. "Sexual stuff aside, did she expect us to think that all the drug abuse, suicide, and crimes in the music video were okay?" one commenter wrote. "You're a singer, sing instead of shooting erotic videos," another added.

Triple H's "365 FRESH" music video was released on Monday, May 1. It follows three young people who get caught up in a three-way relationship as they decide to live their lives to the fullest by consuming drugs, stealing and later, committing suicide together.

People had expressed concerns about the video since teenagers have free access to it. "They're idols whose main consumers are teens but they're showing negative sexual things to them," one commenter said. Another stated, "It feels wrong to glamorize bad things like drugs, suicide attempt and sexual things... the music video makes it seem like that's a normal lifestyle."
