AceShowbiz - Tyga was arrested for allegedly driving his new Mercedes G-Series without license plates. The "Hookah" rapper was handcuffed while leaving a Hollywood nightclub on early Wednesday, April 12. He was taken to the LAPD station.
According to TMZ, cops pulled Tyga over while he was leaving Avenue Nightclub at around 2 A.M. The rapper reportedly had paper plates on the Mercedes G Wagon he was driving, but police ended up taking him down to the station for a possible DUI.
Law enforcement sources reveals that Tyga was released with a ticket for no drivers license or insurance 90 minutes after cops determined that he wasn't under the influence. Cops allegedly took the rapper to the police station because they wanted to avoid paparazzi.
A video obtained by the site shows Tyga making his way out of the police station. When photographers asked him why he was arrested, he explained that he "just bought" the car.
