AceShowbiz - Rumors about Selena Gomez collaborating with DJ Jax Jones turned out to be true. The British multi-instrumentalist, who produced Tinie Tempah and Tinashe's "Text From Your Ex", dropped by Capital FM to confirm that it was Selena's voice in a snippet of a song titled "This Is Real".
"I mean, I said on the title that it was Selena," he confirmed. "I'm not lying. There's no Milli Vanilli going on here. It is, it's Selena Gomez." Jax hoped the song could be released soon. "I mean, it's a great record and one day I hope to release it," he said.
Earlier this month, Jax shared the preview of the song. On the new track, the "Hands to Myself" songstress can be heard singing, "This is real/ And you've been right here all along." However, Selena's fans weren't 100% convinced it's her voice. "@SelenaHQ This dont sound like her voice, just another artist wanting buzz," a fan tweeted, while another wrote, "@SelenaHQ this sounds like her she sounds different with her higher voice."

The 24-year-old pop star recently hit the studio with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter to record Michaels' newly released single "Issues". She was also reportedly working on "very sexy music" with her rumored beau The Weeknd. "They started hanging as friends and it became romantic. They're working on very sexy music, so it spilled over," a source said.
