AceShowbiz - Aubrey Drake Graham seemingly misses acting. During an interview for Cal Cast podcast which was hosted by college basketball head coach John Calipari, Drake revealed that he planned to return to the acting world.
"Acting is another thing that I just can't wait to really dive into," said Drake. "I think after I release 'More Life', which is this playlist I'm working on, and finish this tour, I think I'm going to really start to position myself in the acting world and, hopefully, take some great roles."
In terms of acting, Drake was known for his appearance on Canadian teen drama series "Degrassi: The Next Generation", on which he played Jimmy Brooks, a basketball star from a wealthy family. He also voiced young male mammoth Ethan in "Ice Age: Continental Drift".
During the podcast interview, Drake also said that he wanted to be a late-night TV host. "I hope to get there one day where I put on amazing suits every night," said Drake. "Just put on Tom Ford every night, sit with a glass of wine, and laugh with people that I've spent years with in the business, or friends of mine, and give people something to watch every night that makes them feel good and laugh."
Drake's upcoming project is a playlist titled "More Life", a collaboration with Apple Music. The rapper once said that he created the playlist "to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life."
