The One Direction member reportedly signed a deal with Columbia Records with a whopping $80 million range for his upcoming albums.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles signed a solo record deal with Columbia Records earlier this month. According to a new report, the deal landed the One Direction member a whopping $80 million for his upcoming albums.

Sources tell HitsDailyDouble.com that Apple offered Harry $25 million for one album. Columbia Records won the bid with a $75-80 million range for three albums. The site points out that the deal would have a break-even point of 5 million units worldwide beyond marketing costs and streaming income.

It's still unknown when Harry's first solo album will be released as his rep declined to comment on the contract deal.

Harry is currently busy filming Christopher Nolan's World War II drama "Dunkirk" alongside Fionn Whitehead, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance and James D'Arcy. The epic action-thriller movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 21, 2017.

Harry registered four songs with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) last year. While fans are rejoicing to hear Harry's new tracks, they're also speculating if his solo career meant the end of One Direction who took a hiatus following the release of "Made in the A.M." back in October.
