The Mother Monster is reportedly in negotiations to play a string of jazz shows at Monte Carlo's newly-renovated Park Theater.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa could be the next A-list musician doing a residency in Las Vegas. According to a new Las Vegas Sun report, the Mother Monster is thought to be in talks for a series of gigs at the new 5,000-capacity Park Theater at Monte Carlo Hotel.

GaGa will apparently play jazz shows once the deal with the venue is finalized. There have been rumors that she may first release her second collaborative album with jazz legend Tony Bennett before dropping her next solo record.

The 30-year-old New York native isn't the first singer speculated to do a residency at the newly-renovated Park Theater. Last week, Las Vegas Sun said that Justin Timberlake was also considered to do a string of shows there.

Reports about GaGa and Timberlake's residencies remain unconfirmed, but MGM Resorts Chairman Jim Murren has assured fans that anyone headlining shows at the venue would be "the best of the best."

"I can say the quality of those you have written about are the nature of those we are working with," he said. "I can't confirm those names, but they are in the stratosphere of who we are going to have next year at the Park Theater. They will be the best of the best and someone who has never done this type of residency before."
