'The Leftovers' Goes Down Under for Season 3

The HBO drama series will be heading to Australia for its third and final season.

AceShowbiz - "The Leftovers" is moving again, this time to another continent. The third and final season of the HBO drama series will take place in Australia and will be filmed in the country. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new season will pick up where it left off last season in Austin, Texas before going Down Under.

The show created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta based on Perrotta's novel of the same name started out in the fictional town of Mapleton, New York in the first season, before relocating to a "miracle" town, Jaden, in Texas.

Justin Theroux, Liv Tyler, Amy Brenneman, Margaret Qualley, Chris Zylka, Carrie Coon and Christopher Eccleston starred in the first two seasons, but the cast for the third season is yet to be announced. A premiere date is yet to be set either.
