AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian took to Instagram to express her feelings about loving someone who might not love her back. The "Kocktails with Khloe" host posted a quote along with a lengthy note as she talked about unrequited love and letting go.
"It doesn't matter how loyal you are to someone. You can't change someone's heart and bad habits unless they want to themselves," so read the quote Khloe posted. After reading the quote, many speculated that the 31-year-old star was talking about her ex Lamar Odom, who was recently caught drinking again after suffering drug overdose in October 2015.
"Letting go doesn't mean that you don't care about someone anymore. It's just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself," Khloe wrote in the caption, adding that people were not supposed to take care of other people's business.
As she shared that she believed "timing is everything," Khloe continued, "People say time heals all wounds... I say time heals wounds but scars are left to remind you what you have been through and what you survived. Stop shattering your own heart by trying to make a relationship (friend, family, partner) work that clearly isn't meant to work... Sometimes the person you want most is the person you're best without."
Khloe also posted a quote from author Nayyirah Waheed, who stated, "Someone can be madly in love with you and still not be ready. They can love you in a way you have never been loved and still not join you on the bridge. And whatever their reasons you must leave."
Later that day, Khloe wrote a series of messages on Twitter to avoid any potential rumor that she was referring to Lamar or her brother Rob Kardashian's recent engagement to Blac Chyna. "Every now and then i post a message with a long caption because I'm speaking from my heart. I know It gets lengthy but I feel the message is important to get across for ME. I don't write these about anyone per say but they are feelings," she wrote.
Khloe also thanked her loyal fans who always supported her. "You guys are incredibly beautiful!!! Thank you for your love," she added.
