AceShowbiz - Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole are definitely up to something. While fans are still expecting them to release a joint project, the two rappers treated them to a couple of new tracks released in honor of Black Friday.
Both tracks are actually Lamar and Cole's remixes of each other's songs. Lamar shared via his TDE SoundCloud page on Friday, November 27 a clip featuring him freestyling over "A Tale of 2 Citiez" from Cole's "2014 Forest Hills Drive" album.
Meanwhile, Cole drops new bars over Lamar's "To Pimp a Butterfly" single "Alright". At one point, he teases the rumored joint project with K. Dot. "Dreamville in this motherf**ker, Top Dawg in this motherf**ker/ When you and K. Dot s**t dropping?/ B**ch never, they can't handle two black n***as this clever/ But this February, bet s**t get scary when I f**k around and drop," he raps.
