After Chalie's ex-girlfriend Bree said on 'The Howard Stern Show' that he never told her about his HIV positive status, the actor's manager explains the reason behind it.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Sheen's manager Mark Burg responded to the claim made by the actor's ex-girlfriend Bree Olson who said he never told her about his HIV positive status. The manager told E! News in a statement that the actor wasn't HIV positive at the time he's dating Bree.

"Bree Olsen was with Charlie in March and April of 2011 when he fired her from the [Violent Torpedo of Truth] tour," read the statement. "Charlie was not HIV positive at that time and tested negative two times after he got back from the tour." The statement continued, "He didn't tell her because he wasn't HIV positive at the time. He has not spoken to her since April 2011."

Bree previously said on "The Howard Stern Show", "He never said anything to me. I was his girlfriend, I lived with him. We were together. We had sex almost every day for a year with lambskin condoms, which do not protect...There were times we didn't even use condoms, because it was only to prevent pregnancy."

The blonde beauty took to Twitter on Tuesday, November 17 to set the record straight on rumors that she's also HIV positive. "I thought by doing 1 radio & 1 television interview- this would stop, but it hasn't," Bree wrote. "I DO NOT HAVE HIV. I AM HIV NEGATIVE."

On the other hand, Charlie received outpouring support from fellow celebrities after he opened up on "Today" show that he's HIV positive. Lady GaGa wrote on Instagram alongside a picture from the revealing interview, "#BraveCharlie@btwfoundation, an opportunity for people all over the world to learn about modern HIV prevention, treatments, and emotional intelligence as it relates to the stigma of the virus."

Piers Morgan, meanwhile, opted to post a throwback picture of him and Charlie having a conversation in a TV studio. A caption for the picture read, "Bravo @charliesheen - that took guts today. Proud to be your mate." TV personality Al Roker, similarly, tweeted, "Good on @charliesheen . Tough road but he is taking the first steps. Here's to his and his loved ones emotional & physical health."
