AceShowbiz - J. Cole got hit with an iPhone while he was performing onstage recently. The rapper was in the middle of playing "Power Trip" at an afterparty for his "2014 Forest Hills Drive" tour stop in San Diego last weekend when someone in the crowd threw his/her phone at him.
According to a video taken by another fan in attendance, the device landed on Cole's face. Instead of getting mad, he smiled, took a brief look at the phone and put it in his pocket before he continued performing the song like nothing had happened.
Cole is on the third leg of his "2014 Forest Hills Drive" tour, which was launched in support of his 2014 album of the same title. Big Sean, YG and Jeremih were among those joining the trek as supporting acts.
The Fayetteville, North Carolina native will bring his tour to other cities across the U.S. like Chicago, New York, Boston, Atlanta, Houston and Dallas before wrapping things up with a show on August 29 in his hometown.
