AceShowbiz - One Direction was asked about fans booing former member Zayn Malik when his face appeared on the big screen during the boyband's concert in Cardiff. Despite the video that proved it indeed happened, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles insisted they didn't hear it.
"It's the first we've heard of it," Tomlinson responded to the report at the Capital Summertime Ball. Payne added, "I don't think that's true, if I'm honest." Horan chimed in, "We had a gig in Cardiff last night and it was amazing. We haven't done a gig in a while and to then come back to that."
Zayn Malik announced his exit from the boyband on March 25 after he was rumored cheating on his fiancee Perrie Edwards. He said he wanted to live a "normal" life but later announced his plan to launch a solo career.
