Employed as a vet, pregnant and recently widowed, and living in San Francisco, Tanner asks her best friend Kimmy and her sister Stephanie to come help her raise her kids. It will be preceded by a one-hour reunion.

Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, who collectively played Michelle Tanner on the original series, have been confirmed not to return for the spin-off, which is slated to debut in 2016.
