The catchy new song which was premiered on Friday, May 15 reportedly will lead a re-issue of Adam Levine and Co.'s latest album, last year's 'V'.

AceShowbiz - A brand new Maroon 5 single is out. The band premiered on Friday, May 15 the song called "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like a Motherf**ker" on iHeartRadio before dropping its accompanying lyric video through their Vevo channel later in the day.
The upbeat and catchy song opens with the group's frontman Adam Levine declaring that "this summer's gonna hurt like motherf**ker" before explaining why in the next lines. "Her body's hot/ Her body's like the summer/ I'm in a trance or something," he says. "Her mind is not, no/ As sharp as all her diamonds."
He adds in the pre-chorus, "I see her dancing in the streets/ Sipping champagne on the beach/ So expensive when she eats 'cause she's so fancy/ I see her when I go to sleep/ I check my phone when I am weak/ She never posts anything deep 'cause she's so fancy."
"This Summer's Gonna Hurt" is a new single reportedly from the re-issue of Maroon 5's latest album, last year's "V". The track serves as the follow-up to "V" hits including "Maps", "Animals" and "Sugar". There's still no word on when the new album will arrive.
