Seth Rogen Teases First Look at Dominic Cooper on 'Preacher'

After uploading a picture of clapper board for 'Preacher', Rogen shares a picture of Cooper and Ian Colletti on the set of AMC's upcoming series.

AceShowbiz - Seth Rogen has shared a picture teasing the first look at Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer from the upcoming AMC TV series, "Preacher". The said picture was uploaded on Twitter without any caption but a hashtag which read, "#Preacher."

The picture also showed Ian Colletti as Arseface with Evan Goldberg, the co-writer and director, in the background. Before tweeting this image, Rogen had posted a picture of clapper board for "Preacher" on May 13. Some of the information on the board read, "Director: Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg. Camera: Bill Pope." The caption of the said picture expressed Rogen's excitement as it read, "I can't believe we are f**king doing this!!!! #Preacher."

The cast also consists of Joseph Gilgun as a vampire, Ruth Negga as Jeese's ex-girlfriend Tulip, Ian Colletti as the kindhearted Arseface, W. Earl Brown as his father Sheriff Hugo Root, Lucy Griffiths as Emily Woodrow, and Elizabeth Perkins as Vyla Quinncannon, the owner of the local slaughterhouse which is described as a semi-original character of the comic.

"Preacher" is based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's comic published between 1995 and 2000. It tells the story about Jesse Custer, a preacher from small town in Texas, who is accidentally fused with a supernatural creature named Genesis in a horrific incident which flattened his church. Since then, he has an ability that makes anyone obey his words. He then makes a journey to find God and ask his abandonment. He is accompanied by his ex-girlfriend, Tulip, and Irish vampire, Cassidy. This series is reportedly to be released in 2016 on AMC.
