The Grammy-nominated singer was arrested on Monday, March 9 for knocking out her daughter Diamond's teeth with a metal stand.

AceShowbiz - Angie Stone was arrested in Lithonia, Georgia for assaulting her 30-year-old daughter Diamond on Monday, March 9. The "Wish I Didn't Miss You" songstress was then charged with domestic aggravated assault.
According to Police in Dekalb County, the Grammy-nominated singer said her daughter punched her in the face. She then defended herself with a metal stand but she accidentally knocked out several of Diamond's front teeth. A family friend broke up the altercation.
Diamond told police that the altercation started after Angie told her to clean up and get her children under control. Diamond was also taken into custody but she was later released without being charged.
Following the arrest, Diamond took to Facebook to blast her mother and share some photos of her teeth and the metal used by Angie to hit her. She wrote, "People are so quick to pass judgment but never really know the full story. Never uphold people in wrong no matter who they are I'm crushed but I ain't dead so for the people that praise 'her' keep right on just know that it ain't over. You so big and bad but had to use a weapon on me in a fight that you started."
She went on, "You giggled on the inside because you thought I was going to jail too.?#?Wrong? I'm sick of putting up these fronts and because you took s**t to another level I will too. I love all my family but I cannot take anymore abuse so I'm separating myself from it all. I pray God heals us from this but from where I sit there is no turning back cause if you ain't wit me you against me. You so worried about to media and the press but I promise you this I will not rest until my story is heard!"
Angie's representative hasn't commented on the issue yet.
