Eric Bana Is Uther in Guy Ritchie's 'Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur'

While Bana is on board starring as Uther, fellow actors Charlie Hunnam and Astrid Berges-Frisbey will be portraying King Arthur and Guinevere.

AceShowbiz - Eric Bana, as reported by Variety, has just nabbed a new coveted role which is as Uther in Guy Ritchie's "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur". Plot details of the upcoming flick haven't been disclosed just yet, but several actors are already on board to star in it.

In addition to Bana, Charlie Hunnam has been cast to portray the role of King Arthur. Astrid Berges-Frisbey, in the meantime, has been booked to play Guinevere. Besides, actor Jude Law has been in talks for the role of the villain.

Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow will house "Knights of the Roundtable", with Ritchie on board directing from a script written by Joby Harold. Ritchie, moreover, will be producing alongside Harold, Lionel Wigram, Akiva Goldsman, and Tory Tunnell.

Planned for July 22, 2016 release, "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur" will be made into a six-movie series, Variety has reported. Further information on the matter hasn't been disclosed though.
