AceShowbiz - Just a few days after debuting "A Little Too Much", Shawn Mendes has dropped the accompanying music video for the new song. The Canadian singer keeps things simple in the black-and-white clip he premiered on Vevo on Wednesday, February 4.
Bringing along his guitar, he showcases his amazing vocals while standing on a stage in front of numerous empty seats. The 16-year-old singer is only joined by a man playing the grand piano next to him.
"A Little Too Much" will be featured on Mendes' debut album "Handwritten" that's due out on April 28 through Island Records. Following up previously-released "Life of the Party" and "Something Big", the new ballad is available for free download for fans who pre-order the LP.
To promote his first full-length, Mendes is hitting the road with Taylor Swift later this year. He's serving as an opening act for select North American dates on the former country sweetheart's "1989" tour that opens in Louisiana on May 20.
