AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds sets the record straight on the rumor surrounding his newborn daughter. Contrary to the swirling report, the "Safe House" actor denies he and his actress wife Blake Lively name their baby girl Violet.
"No that's not the name," the first-time father dismissed the rumor in an interview with USA Today while promoting his new movie "The Voices". "I don't want to get into that but I don't know where that came from."
The Canadian hunk jokes he becomes a "bloodless ghost of Ryan Reynolds" as he adjusts to baby duty and opts not to have a nanny. "I don't sleep very much," he explained. "It's great. It's wonderful. But my brain is elsewhere."
"It's still so new that it's hard to conceive being away for more than seven hours at a time. I had to go to Sundance this last week. I was more excited to get a good night's sleep. It was borderline pornographic for me."
