The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker thanks Paramore's Hayley Williams for informing her that her social media accounts were compromised.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift blasted hackers after finding out that her Twitter and Instagram accounts were compromised on Tuesday, January 27. "Cause the hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack...," she tweeted, making a reference to the lyrics of her hit single "Shake It Off".

"PS any hackers saying they have 'nudes'? Psssh you'd love that wouldn't you!" the country pop singer continued. "Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING."

She thanked her friend Hayley Williams for alerting her that there was something off on her social media. "I'd like to acknowledge the MVP of the day, @yelyahwilliams, for being the first to text me about the hack this morning. #FriendshipGoals," she wrote.

The Paramore lead singer replied, "Here's to the proof that you can win an MVP award for just basically sitting on the Internet for too long. @taylorswift13."

Swift also wrote on her Tumblr, "My Twitter got hacked but don't worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords. Never a dull moment." She added, "This is going to be a long day. #This is why I'm scared of technology."

Earlier that day, her Twitter and Instagram were updated with messages to follow @lizzard and @veriuser. They reportedly have connection with the Lizard Squad, a group who claimed responsibility for hacking Sony Playstation and Xbox Live last year and for the temporary shutdowns of Facebook and Instagram on Monday.
