AceShowbiz - First trailer for Julianne Moore-starring drama "Still Alice" has been released. Unveiled via Yahoo! Movie on Monday, December 8, the 2-minute video sees her linguist character Dr. Alice Howland struggling after being diagnosed with early onset of Alzheimer's Disease.

Moore and her family at first can be seen having dinner together to celebrate her birthday. The scenes later see her character forgetting words she's going to say and getting lost during a run. Moore later tells her husband, played by Alec Baldwin, of her diagnosis and gathers their children to share the awful news. "This might be the last year I'm myself," Moore tells Baldwin.

Moore was honored with Best Actress award by the National Board of Review Awards, Gotham Independent Film Awards and Hollywood Film Awards for her performance in the touching pic. Speaking to Yahoo! Movie, Moore shared that she did thorough research for her character. "I didn't want to depict anything onscreen that I hadn't actually seen. Everything that you see - all of the actions, all of the reactions, all of the things that are physicalized - were all things that I had observed," she said.

Based on a novel by Lisa Genova, "Still Alice" features cast members which also include Kristen Stewart, Kate Bosworth and Hunter Parrish. Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland served as the directors. It is scheduled for a one-week run this month before going wide on January 16.
