The 18-year-old singer takes to Twitter to slam Hollywood Life for reporting 'ridiculous' reason behind his split from the Fifth Harmony member.

AceShowbiz - Austin Mahone took to Twitter on Tuesday night, November 25 to address rumor surrounding his break-up from Camila Cabello. He tweeted, "@HollywoodLife that's the most ridiculous reason I've ever heard... Nothing like that even happened at all. Idk what source u guys talking 2."
Hollywood Life previously quoted an "exclusive" source who falsely revealed the reasons behind Austin and Camila's split. The quoted source claimed, "There was some trouble in the relationship brewing and as a last-ditch effort, Camilla made it official. That was one of the biggest stumbling blocks: She wanted to tell people and he wanted to keep it low key."
"When she revealed that they were dating, he accused her of using it to sell albums and she was hurt by that and they both decided to break up," the source added, "Now that they aren't touring together, it made it easier to make the split. They aren't bitter with each other and something might happen with them in the future but right now, they both are enjoying the clean break. They both decided that it was a long time coming."
Camila confirmed that she's no longer dating Austin in an interview with Pittsburgh's KISS 96.1 on Monday. "We're actually not together anymore," the member of Fifth Harmony said. "Hey, things happen," she added, before joking about her current single status, "I need some mistletoe action."
