AceShowbiz - George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin looked happy as they were joined by family and friends for a rehearsal dinner at Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy on Friday, September 26. After the dinner, George and Amal enjoyed separate his-and-hers parties on separate gondolas.
In some pictures obtained by Mail Online, Amal can be seen wearing a silky red waterfall dress paired with black heels and black clutch. The British human rights lawyer wore a matching red lipstick and her hair was styled into voluminous side parting. George, meanwhile, sported a navy suit paired with an unbuttoned white shirt.
George raised a glass with her male friends, including Rande Gerber, aboard a luxury gondola as he watched Amal stepped aboard another gondola next to his. Amal was joined by her mother Baria, sister Tala and other female friends and family members on the boat.
Other guests who also attended the dinner were George's cousin Miguel Ferrer, Ellen Barkin, Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso as well as Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
George and Amal's wedding is reportedly scheduled to be held at Hotel Aman on Saturday. As Venice officials previously announced that pedestrian access fronting the Grand Canal would be closed for two hours on Monday, many believe that the Saturday event will be the couple's formal ceremony and the Monday event will be their civil ceremony.
