The yet-to-be-titled joint project, which will feature the two singers' duet tracks, is scheduled to be released this November.
A few months ago, Cody Simpson revealed he'd been cooking up something in the studio with good pal Justin Bieber. Details about the collaboration remained mysterious, until the Australian singer talked to Sydney Daily Telegraph recently.
In an interview, Simpson said he and Bieber worked together on some tracks that would be included in a joint album expected to be released later this year. "It is a smack bang duets [album]," he told the newspaper.
"Justin has been a good mate of mine for a while. It's just us writing. He told me he felt like I'd figured myself out and have grown into what he knows I will be, so he was like, 'I see you as that guitarist, singer-songwriter you've always wanted to be.' I play all the guitars on the album," he continued.
The album, currently untitled, is scheduled to come out in November. There's still no word on when the first song off the collaborative project will arrive.
