The Olympic volleyball player shows off her pregnancy body in the buff and comes back for another nude photoshoot just nine weeks after she gave birth.
Kerri Walsh Jennings was among the athlete stars featured naked on the August "Body Issue" of ESPN the Magazine. What set the Olympic volleyball player's nude pictures apart from the other stars' photos is that she shows her body in the buff while being pregnant and flaunts it again after the baby was born.
Jennings says she gained 36 pounds during pregnancy and still has about 12 pounds to lose to get her pre-baby body back. She says she felt nervous about taking her clothes off just nine weeks after daughter Scout was born, "Driving there I was sweating bullets... I felt exposed, not just physically, but with all of my insecurities."
Later in a statement to PEOPLE, the three-time Olympic gold medalist admits she was originally anxious about people's reaction to her nude photoshoot, "I am so happy and relieved that people are receiving my pictures so warmly. I didn't realize how vulnerable I'd feel upon the release of the photos ... I am happy and I am proud."
