Jarvis Cocker, Beth Orton and Charlotte Gainsbourg take the stage at London's Barbican to join the 'Loser' singer to perform his 2012 sheet music collection.

AceShowbiz - Beck recently took the stage at London's Barbican for the first full live performance of "Song Reader", his 2012 sheet music collection. A group of British musicians including Franz Ferdinand, Jarvis Cocker, Beth Orton and Charlotte Gainsbourg joined the multi-instrumentalist onstage to perform his sheet music.

A house band including Seb Rochford, Tom Herbert and The Invisible's Dave Okumu played through the night, with music direction from Ed Harcourt and David Coulter. For the grand finale, Beck and other performers packed the stage to perform "Rough on Rats".

"Song Reader" is Beck's album that was released as sheet music. It features 20 songs and over 100 pages of art. All the songs in the music sheet are open to interpretation by different people. Beck has only played a few "Song Reader" tracks live before, during solo gigs in California.

After releasing the album, Beck told fans that they could have high expectations of the album. However, since the tracks were only available in music sheet form, he added, "Bringing [the tracks] to life depends on you."
