Katie Holmes is back with Suri after the little girl spent time with her father Tom Cruise for two days. The actor had his assistant and bodyguards drop off his daughter safely for her gymnastics class near Chelsea Piers, according to E! News. The 6-year-old was later picked up by his estranged wife.
A day before, Tom took Suri on a helicopter ride. They reportedly were followed by a group of paparazzi when going to the heliport in a chauffeur-driven car. They allegedly sped beyond the limit and ran a red light, but the story was quickly denied by the "Oblivion" actor.
In a statement, his representative Amanda Lundberg told Newsday, "It's false. Never happened." Confirming the fabricated news, Police also said they got no calls or complaints about the so-called car chase or the speeding supposedly led by the father/daughter duo.
Per divorce settlement signed by Katie and Tom, Suri will live primarily with her and receive generous visitations from him. The mother/daughter duo currently lives in a rented apartment at the Chelsea Mercantile in the Big Apple.
Juggling between her role as a single mother and her career in showbiz, Katie is now busy with some new projects. She has been tapped to make a return to the Broadway in a play called "Dead Accounts", and is set to present new collection from her fashion line with Jeanne Yang in New York Fashion Show in September.
