Maroon 5 threw a rocking performance on "Today" show's Toyota Summer Concert Series on Friday morning, June 29. Rocking all-white outfits, Adam Levine and his bandmates delivered some of their recent hit songs from their newly-released album "Overexposed".
Taking to the stage at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York, the pop rock band treated the audience with energetic performances of "Moves Like Jagger" and "Harder to Breathe". They also performed their latest singles "Payphone" and "One More Night".
"This was maybe the most fun I've ever had making a record," Levine told host Matt Lauer when discussing the band's latest studio installment. "There's some pain there somewhere. It's part of it. I think it should be a prerequisite. You shouldn't have to be sad to write a good song, but sometimes it helps."
After the mini concert, Levine took to his Twitter to give a shoutout to the morning show. "Apparently our Today Show crowd was one of their biggest EVER," he wrote. "People waiting since 4 am in the pouring rain. Wow. #BESTFANSEVEREVEREVER."
