Marla Sokoloff has officially become a proud mother to a baby girl. The actress known for her role as Lucy Hatcher on ABC's legal drama "The Practice" gave birth to her first child with husband Alec Puro on Wednesday, February 8 in California. Her representative confirmed the happy news to PEOPLE.
Sokoloff and her husband named their new arrival, who was delivered at 8:05 P.M. and weighed in at 7 lbs., Elliotte Anne Puro. The 31-year-old actress herself has expressed her joy in welcoming the newborn, telling the magazine, "Mom, dad and baby are happy as can be and completely in love with each other."
Throughout her pregnancy, Sokoloff had been blogging for PEOPLE. In her last blog dated January 26, the actress playing Gia Mahan on '90s series "Full House" shared her thoughts on getting closer to become a mother. "In the grand scheme of things, these nine months went by pretty quickly," she wrote.
"Yes, there were weeks that seemed endless and yes, I'm currently complaining about my feet swelling up like balloons and the general discomfort that comes with the end of pregnancy - but all in all the journey has been one that I will never forget," she further admitted. "Dare I say ... I'm even looking forward to doing it AGAIN?!"
