Katy Perry was back on the flirty mode during the DirectTV pre-Super Bowl XLVI party on Saturday, February 4. The singer who is in the middle of divorce process with Russell Brand mingled with some athletes like Cam Newton and Tim Tebow.
Perry was assigned to present a trophy at the Associated NFL Awards, handing out rookie of the year category to Newton. "You'll be the first straight man I've had a photo with in a long time, so live up to it," Perry told the Carolina Panthers player. Newton replied, "I am."
She even dedicated her raunchy song, "Peacock", for Denver Broncos quarterback. "This one goes out to Tim Tebow," said the singer who was wearing a half-Giants and half-Patriots jersey. She later adressed the rumor that her parents have been trying to set her up with the athlete after her split from Brand, saying "Hi, Tim. My parents say, 'Hi'".
