The 'Teen Mom 2' star, who recently suffered a miscarriage, has entered her 2-year-old daughters, Aliannah and Aleeah, in a beauty pageant that will benefit St. Jude Children's research.
Leah Messer's twin daughters will not go home empty handed in their first beauty pageant, it has been unraveled. Beauties and Beaus Pageantry Director Kim Dawson said that by signing up for the competition, both Aliannah and Aleeah are already guaranteed to get a two-foot trophy, a three-inch crown and a custom sash.
Dawson further noted that the "Teen Mom 2" star's 2-year-old girls have chances to bring home more crowns and trophies on February 11. Speaking to Hollywood Life about it, the pageantry director said that larger crowns and trophies will be given to the winner of "Queen, Mini Supreme, Grand Supreme or High Point Elite".
On further details of the competition, Dawson dished that Aliannah and Aleeah "will be competing in beauty wear wearing pageant gowns and baby doll dresses." She added that the twins are required to "walk and look really pretty, smile, wave and look at the judges, [and sometimes] blow kisses" once they are on the stage.
Since it will be Messer's first in entering her daughter into a pageant, Dawson claimed she has advised the teen mom to "bring her daughters to see if they enjoy it." She continued on, "If they like it, then continue. Their first time they never know how they are going to act." Messer herself has tweeted, "I can't wait for the girls 1st pageant! Yeaayahhh!! #excited #proudmomma."
News that Aliannah and Aleeah will be competing in Beauties and Beaus pageant that will benefit St. Jude Children's research was broken out by Messer's mother Dawn Spears. She tweeted on January 24, "ALL. Ali & Aleeah will be in the St.Jude beauty pageant on Feb 11th at the wv state college. It starts at 11am come out and support St.Jude."
Spears posted the tweet as a further explanation for a previous tweet. "I'm on the search for pretty pageant dresses..," her earlier tweet read. "Anybody know of a good site to look for dressed send me or @TM2LeahDawn a tweet ty." The pageant news came shortly after it was reported that Messer suffered a miscarriage.
