'The Dictator' Rides Camel in New York

Sacha Baron Cohen, who portrays the titular character in the comedy flick, is seen parading on his camel through New York streets.

Sacha Baron Cohen continues doing his hilarious scene for "The Dictator". During a filming in New York on June 19, the British funnyman, who wore his Saddam Hussein-like costume, saluted the crowd while parading on a camel.

"The whole get up was hilarious, and we are all looking forward to seeing how the film turns out," an onlooker said as quoted by Daily Mail. "Even by the standards of New York, that is not something you see every day. The only thing more impressive than the camel was Baron Cohen's ridiculous beard."

In addition to acting, Cohen teams up with Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer to produce and pen the script. Ben Kingsley and Jason Mantzoukas take the supporting roles in this Larry Charles-directed movie, which will open in U.S. cinemas on May 11, 2012.

"The Dictator" is inspired by Saddam Hussein's best selling novel, "Zabibah and the King". It revolves around a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.
