Confirmed: Adam Lambert to Perform on 'American Idol'

The 'American Idol' graduate will become a musical guest on the show, singing one of his 'For Your Entertainment' tracks next week.

AceShowbiz - Adam Lambert is going to return to the stage of "American Idol". The 2009 runner-up of the singing competition broke the news on Twitter after the Top 13 contestants were announced on March 3 episode.

The 29-year-old singer/songwriter is set to perform "Aftermath", a single from his debut album "For Your Entertainment", next on March 10. "Hey guess what?! I will be performing 'Aftermath' on American Idol on Thursday, March 10! " he told his followers.

Two weeks later, Lambert will drop his "Glam Nation Live" CD/DVD. Leading to the album release on March 22, he's releasing one music video every week to tease the forthcoming album. The footage was shot during one of his concerts in Indianapolis, Indiana at Clowes Hall on August 31, 2010 and directed by Doug Spangenberg.
