When "Nurse Jackie" returns March 28, she is in for a big mess. Now that her husband Kevin is friends with Eddie, more secrets are on the verge of being unveiled. Kevin visits Jackie at the hospital one day, only to be told by Zooey that Jackie is not married.
Kevin is also doing an intervention on Jackie's addiction to pills, with the help of O'Hara. And then there's another complication in the form of Jaimie Alexander. The "Bones" actress has been tapped to play Jackie's sister-in-law who is "wild and immature" and would stay with the family for a while. EW said her recurring role will be at least four episodes long.
Tunie is not the only new character of the season. Gbenga Akinnagbe would "play a new nurse named Kelly, who is as good a nurse as Jackie, and as perceptive."
For those who would like to catch up with the story, the second season DVD and Blu-ray will be available on February 22. It includes 12 episodes with creator and actor commentaries and two innovative featurettes on the characters of Dr. Cooper and Dr. O'Hara, and the actors who portray them.
