Famed wrestler Hulk Hogan was rushed to hospital on Monday, September 6 after allegedly experiencing "excruciating back pain". The 57-year-old former reality TV star was hospitalized at local hospital in Clearwater, Florida, TMZ reported.
According to the site, Hulk's girlfriend, Jennifer McDaniel, was the one who called the ambulance after learning that the wrestler wasn't able to get out of bed. Sources said that Hulk is still currently in hospital to undergo tests.
Hulk himself has since posted a video of himself, lying in an emergency room of Morton Plant Hospital. Along with the video, the "McCinsey's Island" actor wrote, "Hung as long as I Could. Back is totally spazzing out. Time to heal. HH."
Hulk Hogan has had several back surgeries throughout the years. One of Hulk's wrestling colleagues, Ric Flair, shared a few months back, "His heart is in the ring but he has health issues and at this point in time they are overwhelming. His back has been really bad."
"He's got an artificial knee, an artificial hip, which don't bother him at all. But his back is causing everything to hurt," Ric went on. "Hopefully, when he gets his back fixed he'll be fine. We might still see him in the ring if his health issues get resolved."
