In anticipation of Taylor Swift's "Mine" debut on August 16, a cover art for the song is unleashed. The 20-year-old country music singer is pictured from behind, wearing a white dress and looking back at the camera. Empty space on the image, which is obtained via Celebuzz, is filled with what seems to be handwriting of the song lyrics.
Beside offering the first look at the artwork, representatives for Taylor Swift have also visited radio stations across the country to play the new track before it goes on air next month. One of the stations which got the first listen is 100.3 KILT.
" 'Mine' is an uptempo song that's unmistakably Taylor," the station reviews it. "It's a boy/girl song, sort of like 'Love Story', but a much more realistic look at a relationship. It shows Taylor's growth and maturity over the 2 years since she released 'Fearless', but still maintains Taylor's ability to tell a story with an instantly memorable hook."
The chorus is described as "big" and "very singable" with such lines as "You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter / You are the best thing that's ever been mine."
Taylor Swift's "tendency to run from love," "Mine" is the first single from her new album "Speak Now" which is due October 25 in United States. She said, "[It's] every really direct example of love that I've had in front of me has ended in goodbye and ended in breakups and things like that. So I think I've developed this pattern of running away when it comes time to fall in love and stay in a relationship."

I love Taylor but I am an older fan. She is now 20. Can evry song not be about how a guy did her wrong. I mean come on has she really ever even had a meaningful lasting relationship in her life? I was hoping this new album would not be geared so much toward 12 year old girls. I think she is a much better writer than this.
Taylor is amazing artist who inspires alot of people including me.For the heads up im just a 12 year old girlwho's dream is to be like taylor. You mgiht thin kthat whatever i am saying doesnt matter because im just a kid. But everyone should have a chance to show who they are and what they like! I first heard her song "Our Song" when I was seven. I have always enjoyed watching CMT and now I cant get enough! She has alot of good songs and she is a really beautiful girl who desrves the world. Almost everyone I know can relate to her songs. Know we cant go around saying we love her and we're her number one fan because none of us really know taylor. None of us realize that Taylor is just another girl living her dream. She is a very lucky girl and Iwish you all the luck taylor. I'm sure your new album is going to beamazing just like evry other one!

Tired of all the chickens, on the internet, I got bored, and hungry. Hungry for a real woman, and not the semblance of a woman. Well, since it for me, and an angel, I’ll call it “Mine.” When the girl delivers, she’ll know its mine when she sees me, and can feel free to call me whatever she wants. Not knowing her, she may use Ron, she may not. Anyway I’m hungry, here is the order. Oh, and you might not see this selection on your screen. Special button, says “Mine.” Installed for me by the guys at corporate. If you can see the order I just placed, consider yourself lucky. It is the sexiest order ever placed. You would not believe how sexy it is. Nobody ever ordered chicken and sides like that before. I’d share it with you, the order, that is, if I felt like it. I don’t. It is private. The girl who delivers knows what it is, and she is not telling. Now I think I’ll go to Taylor Swift’s page, and look around. I don’t really know her, so I can’t love her. I imagine that bothers her. A lot. She is probably pretty hot about now. But, I’m not listening to any more music, or watching TV, or listening to the radio, or getting to know people on the internet. So, even if I wanted to get to know her, I could not. It is not possible. Because she does not wander around delivering special orders for any man.
